The panels are made from steel sheet, bent and welded to form the inner and the outer frame. The complete set is connected using removable hinges and allows the door to be removed from the frame if required. The inner frame contains fire seal, which expands to several times its original size at high temperatures and thus does not allow fire to pass through. The face of the panel is made of coated sheet metal, plus 1 x 15 mm thick red fire panel and a 20 mm thick layer of Steprock mineral wool (or a Thermax panel) mounted with screws.
