ISO9001 is a legislation with voluntary adherence for the company’s continuous improvement through systematization and optimization of all corporate processes: corporate management, planning, commercial management, marketing, procurement planning and production of goods sold are the main sectors touched by this legislation.

The ISO9001 certification is therefore a guarantee to our customers primarily about the products we provide but also about the administrative and commercial services that orbits around the sales service. The products marketed follow a very complex and rigid process that controls all aspects from design, restrictive acceptance, pre-and post-production controls to after-sales service.

False ceilings: Requirements and test methods
One of the most important legislation of the unqualified dry building industry, EN13964 sets the requirements of all components that are part of a suspended ceiling: the suspension system, or all of the components used to connect the ceiling to the false ceiling; The bearing structure and the membranes that are all those products which can serve as coating finishes (plasterboard, mineral fiber, metal panels, etc.).

Akifix S.p.A. designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of items that can be used as a suspension system: these products can be mixed together to create the most congenial solution in the system required for the project and that’s why each item is marketed with its own CE marking. However, it is essential that the entire suspension system comes from a single manufacturer, due to the ineffectiveness of the certification and the inadequacy of the installation.


Mechanical connection elements for plasterboard systems – Definitions, requirements and test methods
The EN14566 is a legislation fully dedicated to plasterboard fixing systems. This regulation provides a whole series of tests to verify the screw resistance that connects the panel to the structure. Its resistance to tearing, bending and passing the plasterboard is then verified through the head of the screw itself. This norm is often underestimated, but in reality it is clearly the fixing the weak and dangerous point of the entire plasterboard installation system: this particular screw must perforate quickly and then support the plasterboard board by clinging to a plate sheet only 0.5 mm thick. It is obvious that this certification is really important because it concerns the safety of people who are stationed near dry systems.



The purpose of this certification is to verify, beforehand, voluntarily, that a product conforms to a certification scheme prepared by ITC, a technical institute dedicated to the construction of the National Research Council: the largest public research facility in Italy born In 1923.

This quality mark, which applies to two types of our fiberglass mesh for armor of coat systems, is even more restrictive than the ETAG004 certification, because it not only verifies the quality of the product but keeps the production site and its quality control methodologies.
